2009 National Event Entry For Pomona is open
Sorry guys, but yes they are taking entries for Pomona. Remember there is NO SUPER COMP. at this race.
BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE
At this time of the year I like to stop and look back over the past year and years. I'm thankful for so much, my health, my husband and his health, the kids, grand kids, friends and family. We sometimes forget that real wealth is not money, its the life we have made for ourselves, our memories, our foot prints that we will leave behind.
This Thanksgiving I hope everyone finds something that can make them feel WEALTHY.

Notice to NHRA Sportsman competitors
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11/25/2008
Due to abuses of the policies, pit-parking complications, and pending changes to the online credential system, the following changes will go into effect for all Sportsman categories in 2009:
Provisional entries (Gold, Silver, past season and past event champions) will not be allowed to reenter after withdrawing.
Bronze Card holders will no longer be guaranteed entry. Bronze Card holders must enter prior to the category reaching quota.
Once a category has reached quota, entries will not be accepted if the competitor's grade point is less than when the category reached quota. Example: If a national event reaches its quota at Grade 4, only competitors with a Grade 4 or higher will be able to enter the event, regardless of the number of withdrawals.
Available transfers within the system will automatically be used during the checkout process. Under Payee information, competitors must enter address, Tax ID or Social Security number.
Driver changes will not be accepted.
Gate entries will not be accepted. All provisional entries (Gold, Silver, past event and past season champions) must be completed online by Monday at 1 p.m. PT the week of the event.

CONGRATES TO DWIGHT DOWNING
Dwight Downing is the Div 7 Super Street Champ for this year (2008). Dwight I'm now glad I lost to you in Vegas, now I can say I was beat by the Champ. Hope to see you at the Super Street race at Firebird on Dec 13. That will be my last race in the Camero, we are selling it to Roy Cracraft, not to sure what I'll be doing for a car yet, we are talking about building me a super street / super gas one, I hate that I can't race the Nat's.
Again, congrats Dwight.

Las Vegas Nat update
Well the Nat. race at Vegas was hit & miss on Sat night with the showers and then the Comp car crash they called it a night. Sunday morning came early, 8 am to finish out the rounds, the WIND made its appearance which was making it very hard to dial for those first few rounds. I want to send Congrats Brad Pierce for his Super Gas win, Brad does not have one of our cars, but his Dad Hurpert has one, his dad was so proud every round that Brad got by he would look around and say "That's my boy".
I also want to say congrats to some of our other customers for going rounds, Steve Apted for going 5 rounds in Super Gas, Keith Downing and Jonathan Fiello for 5 rounds in Super Comp and Sheldon Gecker for 3 rounds in Super Gas and 4 rounds in Super Comp.
