MERRY CHRISTMAS

Just wanted to share a few photos of our growing family. By age, Mason is 6 (Justine's Step son), Ashlynn is 3 (Justine's), Hayden is 2 (Kimberly's), Ryleigh is 2 (Justine's) and Baby Alexis 6 weeks (Kimberly's). We are very, very blessed with so many healthy grand children. This Christmas will be a blast. Of course Mason under stands Christmas, but this year both Ashlynn and Hayden are in on it. Hayden loves to tell you that "Santa Claus is coming" and if you ask him what he is getting he tells you " presents and a doggie -woof -woof". But there will be not doggie, so I'm going shopping this weekend to find a toy one for him.
Well I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday or what every it is you celebrate and hold dear to you this time of the year.

CHUCK HAWK WINS AZ S/C RACE

This past Saturday (Dec 6) at Speed World the Arizona Super Assco's held there 2nd to the last race of the season. Chuck Hawk in a Yancer Mono-ster took the win over Tom himslef.
I lost in round 1 in super street, Keith Montgue went on to win (Keith sorry I misspelled your name)

Our last race of the season will be this Saturday at Firebird, anyone with a super comp, super gas or super street car is welcome to come out, you don't have to be a member to race with us.

This last race will be bitter sweet for me, I have to give up my car, we sold it and the new owner will be picking it up after I make my last pass in it. I'm going to miss her. We are still trying to make up our minds on what the new one will be for me, I will still be running super street, but I will also be able to run super gas if I want, or Tom can run it.
Hope to see you at Firebird this weekend (Dec 13) gates open at 8 am.

CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR OUR SOLDIERS

XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

2009 National Event Entry For Pomona is open

Sorry guys, but yes they are taking entries for Pomona. Remember there is NO SUPER COMP. at this race.

BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE

At this time of the year I like to stop and look back over the past year and years. I'm thankful for so much, my health, my husband and his health, the kids, grand kids, friends and family. We sometimes forget that real wealth is not money, its the life we have made for ourselves, our memories, our foot prints that we will leave behind.
This Thanksgiving I hope everyone finds something that can make them feel WEALTHY.

TO ALL SPORTSMAN RACERS

Make sure you check the NHRA site every few days over the next few months, this is when they like to change things on us. I found this post this morining.

Notice to NHRA Sportsman competitors

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11/25/2008

Due to abuses of the policies, pit-parking complications, and pending changes to the online credential system, the following changes will go into effect for all Sportsman categories in 2009:

Provisional entries (Gold, Silver, past season and past event champions) will not be allowed to reenter after withdrawing.

Bronze Card holders will no longer be guaranteed entry. Bronze Card holders must enter prior to the category reaching quota.

Once a category has reached quota, entries will not be accepted if the competitor's grade point is less than when the category reached quota. Example: If a national event reaches its quota at Grade 4, only competitors with a Grade 4 or higher will be able to enter the event, regardless of the number of withdrawals.

Available transfers within the system will automatically be used during the checkout process. Under Payee information, competitors must enter address, Tax ID or Social Security number.

Driver changes will not be accepted.

Gate entries will not be accepted. All provisional entries (Gold, Silver, past event and past season champions) must be completed online by Monday at 1 p.m. PT the week of the event.

Hope to see you at the Super Street race at Firebird on Dec 13. That will be my last race in the Camero, we are selling it to Roy Cracraft, not to sure what I'll be doing for a car yet, we are talking about building me a super street / super gas one, I hate that I can't race the Nat's.

Las Vegas Nat update

Well the Nat. race at Vegas was hit & miss on Sat night with the showers and then the Comp car crash they called it a night. Sunday morning came early, 8 am to finish out the rounds, the WIND made its appearance which was making it very hard to dial for those first few rounds. I want to send Congrats Brad Pierce for his Super Gas win, Brad does not have one of our cars, but his Dad Hurpert has one, his dad was so proud every round that Brad got by he would look around and say "That's my boy".
I also want to say congrats to some of our other customers for going rounds, Steve Apted for going 5 rounds in Super Gas, Keith Downing and Jonathan Fiello for 5 rounds in Super Comp and Sheldon Gecker for 3 rounds in Super Gas and 4 rounds in Super Comp.

Charles Sturdevant

Meet Charles of Draper, Ut.
He came down to see his new Shock-ster (under construction) and drop of some parts he wanted us to use for it. Charles first word was "WOW", I think in the first min he was here looking at the chassis I heard him say WOW 10 more times. I'm so happy when we get that kind of reaction from our customers. Charles was so excited that he had to get in it. After sitting in it he told Tom, I had about a thousand questions to ask but now I cant remember any of them. That's the normal reaction we get. I told Charles I'll be posting more photos over the next few weeks for him to see, so be sure to check them out

Fontana Sportsman update

I missed seeing my friends and customers at the race in Fontana. I stayed home to be with Kimberly, she is only a few weeks away for having her baby.
I want to say congrats to Chris Lindsay for his runner up in S/C, and way to go to Dwight Downing, he has a good lead on the Super Street points for Div 7 again. And to Tom for his runner up in Top Dragster. I was so nerves with not being there, I had Crystal go to the finish line for the finals and call me, she gave me a great play by play of the run, but it didn't come one the way I was hoping for.

Blake Williams of Chandler Az

I've got some good feed back from you, but one customer was not happy that his photo was not up, so here it is Blake. And for any other Customers please send me you photo and I'll post it and get it added to site. And by the way, Congrats Blake and Denise on your baby due in March of 2009. May she be health and look like her Mommy.

Welcome

Welcome everyone, I hope you like the new website, we have been working hard at getting it up. Tom's still a little behind on the catalog part, we just didn't realize how much stuff we make and sell so it's taking a bit longer to get it put together for you.

We went to Sonoma for the Nat. and Div, the weather was nice and a welcome break from work for us. We enjoyed spending time with the customers and friends we caught up there. Our next racing event will be Bakersfield Div. in Sept.

I keep getting asked how Harley is doing, he is just fine, just turned 2yr, Harley is my Great Dane for anyone who has not met him. The photo is of him and Tom last summer, and yes he is sitting on Tom. Kimberly our daughter who works here is doing great, the new baby is due when we are in Pomona for the world finals.
